Favorite Series

Might as well do this since I've been wanting to for a while

5. Mario

Gotta love the plucky plumber himself, though I kinda like Luigi a bit more if only for the fact I like Green over Red. I really like his platforming games, but I especially love the colorful and wacky characters and enemies. Plus, there's also stuff like kart racing and party games, so it's very strong in that regard too

4. Mega Man/Shovel Knight

These two are grouped for more or less the same reasons. I personally like the Mega Man style of platforming a bit more than Mario's. They also have very interesting awesome bosses, especially with the Robot Masters in Mega Man's case, which was the very reason I even got into Mega Man in the first place. Plus, I personally think that these games have some of the best 8 bit music I have ever heard, though some of the non-8 bit music are pretty good too.

3. Pokemon

Ah, Pokemon, perhaps the most talked about franchise on this list. I think we all know why we love this series, along with the hundreds of creatures, fun RPG nameplate that can be enjoyed both casually and competitively, and of course, lots and lots of HAX. But honestly, I won't stop loving Pokemon no matter what ridiculous things Gamefreak can come up with.

2. Kirby

The pink puffball, I love Kirby so much. He's adorable, he as awesome music, and kicks a lot of ass. 

1. Transformers

Yup, my favorite franchise of all time would the the very Robots In Disguise themselves. I just love the concept of robots turning into various things, and the fact they can produce awesome toys that kids and collectors can enjoy. Yeah, the series is merchandise driven, but who cares? There's games and shows that are quite fun and so much to love.
